Earth Day celebration in Lancaster 'Think Globally, Act Locally' event planned for April 22

LANCASTER — Plans are being made for a community event: Earth Day 2017 — Think Globally, Act Locally! This family-friendly educational celebration will take place on Saturday, April 22, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., at Centennial Park, Main Street, in Lancaster. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, on Main Street in Lancaster.

This celebration is intended to be informative and fun for all ages, with hands-on activities for children, guest speakers and musical entertainment. Environmental organizations are invited to participate, with a special emphasis on local concerns.
