White Mountains Community College to hold annual Grand Auto Show

BERLIN — White Mountains Community College will hold its third annual Grand Auto Show at the main campus in Berlin on May 6.

Last year, 60 cars entered for "best of show" trophies. Organizers hope to grow the event this year. If you own a grand auto, plan to bring it to the show. The event is not limited to cars, so bring your tractor, motorcycle, or any grand vehicle you have on wheels.

In total, $2,000 was awarded last year in scholarship money to assist automotive students with their education. Donations for scholarship and items for the silent auction are welcome.

In addition to the auto show, the college will provide testing on the Mustang Chassis Dynamometer. Music will be provided by Tim Dion and WMCCs Culinary program will prepare food for purchase.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 6. Admission and car entry are free, but donations will be accepted at the door. The event is open to the public.

A rain date for the event is Sunday, May 7.
