A silly comedy presented by the Gorham Players. Admission is by donation.

Gorham Town Hall, 20 Park Street
Friday, Dec. 1, 6:30 p.m. — Santa’s Workshop
The Gorham Common lights will be on and Santa will be there ready to have his picture taken with you. There will be an ornament-making session, and refreshments will be available.

Gorham Congregational Church, 143 Main Street, Gorham
Saturday, Dec. 2, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Annual Christmas Tree Fair
This year’s fair features handmade crafts, homemade baked goods, holiday decorations, and more. A Children’s Shoppe will be open during the fair where youngsters can purchase and wrap gifts. A luncheon will be served, and Santa and his elves will journey from the North Pole to visit with children and the young at heart. A six-foot tall Advent Calendar depicting Gorham at Christmas is a treat for the eyes and full of raffle prizes.

St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts, 155 Emery Street, Berlin
Saturday, Dec. 2, 6 p.m. — The Nutcracker Ballet
This tale of Christmas dreams comes to life with Clara and her beloved toy, the Nutcracker. Tickets are sold in advance by calling or visiting the Arts Center.

St. Barnabas Church, 2 High Street, Berlin
Sunday, Dec. 3 and every Sunday in Dec. until Christmas, 7:15 p.m. — The Compline Choir
The Compline Choir returns with relaxing, meditative chant, which brings calm, healing and composure to those who sing, as well as to those who listen. All are welcome. There is no charge.
