BERLIN — The first Community Dinner of 2017 at St. Barnabas Church will be held Saturday, Jan. 14, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m. Dinner will be served until 6:30 p.m., so you can arrive at a time convenient for you. The menu includes chicken parmesan and all the fixings. The dinners are intended to bring the community of Berlin together to share a meal and conversation for a fun and friendly evening. The meals are free and open to everyone, with funding provided by the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund of the N.H. Charitable Foundation. This fund was
established “to serve as a catalyst for the region to move toward sustainable community.” Volunteers are made up of members of St. Barnabas Church, other local churches, students from Berlin and Gorham, and members of the community. No tickets are necessary, so bring your family and friends. Additional dinners are planned each month through April. St. Barnabas Church is located on the corner of Main and High Streets in Berlin. The phone number is (603) 752-3504, and you can visit their website at stbarnabasberlin.org for more information about these and other events.
