Samaritan’s Purse International Relief project, Operation Christmas Child, will begin on Nov. 13. This year, the N.H. North Area Team volunteers hope to contribute 4,650 shoebox gifts to reach children in need.
Drop-off locations in Jefferson and Milan join nearly 5,000 locations nation-wide, where gift-filled shoeboxes will be collected. The project's National Collection Week is from Monday, Nov. 13, through Monday, Nov. 20. These sites will collect shoebox donations filled with school supplies, hygiene items and fun toys for children living in poverty overseas.
“We are honored to join the nationwide effort to collect gift-filled shoeboxes for children who may have never experienced the true meaning of Christmas," said Regional Director Cecil Pollydore.

The final day to drop off a donation is Monday, Nov. 20, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
