Devoid accepted at WMCC

BERLIN, NH – The office of Student Affairs at White Mountains Community College recently announced that Amanda Devoid has been accepted in the Information Technology program for the academic year 2012. Devoid is a 2005 graduate of Berlin High School. She participated in chorus.

Currently, Devoid is employed at Wal-Mart in Gorham as a customer service Aasociate. She is the daughter of Theresa and Bill Devoid of Berlin, NH.

Evans named to honor roll

GRANBY, VT. -- St. Johnsbury Academy recently announced those students achieving the honor roll for the first quarter of the 2011-2012 academic year. Tucker Evans, in Grade 9, achieved honor roll at the Academy. 

Tucker is the son of Julie Evans of Granby, Vermont, and Kevin Evans of Milan.

5th North Country Child Care Summit held at White Mountains Community College

BERLIN -- On Friday, October 14, 2011, White Mountains Community College hosted the 5th North Country Child Care Summit, with behavioral specialist Jeanine Fitzgerald as the keynote speaker. White Mountains Community College reduces energy operating cost by over $18,000

BERLIN –White Mountains Community College’s (WMCC) energy bills will be down by approximately $18,000 annually beginning this fall, thanks to the installation of energy efficient lighting and additional insulation at its Berlin campus. In addition to saving the college money, this project is estimated to reduce its energy footprint by approximately 2,300 gallons of heating fuel annually and provide a more comfortable learning environment.
