Northern Human Services recognizes direct support professionals

BERLIN — On Aug. 25, Northern Human Services hosted a 2017 direct support professional recognition celebration at Jericho Lake State Park. 

The special event acknowledged the dedication and contributions made to each and every person Northern Human Services supports and the community they represent, and to thank people for their work.   

Music was provided by Justin Lessard and a barbecue was made possible by the support of the Family Support Council. 

One of the activities was a corn hole tournament, with the first place winners going to Donald Chevarie of Berlin and Richard Gilbert of Colebrook. Runners up were Rebecca Dumoulin and Nick Fournier.

Together the communities, staff and the individuals Northern Human Services serves work to embrace agency's mission, which is to assist and advocate for people affected by mental illness and developmental disabilities and related disorders to live meaningful lives.
