Jacques “Jack” Hachez passed away peacefully while in hospice care in Concord, N.H., on Nov. 24, 2017.
Born on April 6, 1948, he was the son of the late Leon and Lucie Hachez. He was a longtime resident of Berlin, N.H., prior to moving to Bow, N.H.
Jack graduated from Berlin High School in 1966 and went on to proudly serve in the Marine Corps from 1966 to 1969; he was a Vietnam veteran. He was employed with the Groveton Paper Board for over 36 years. He was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League, the VFW Post 2520 and the American Legion post 36 both of Berlin.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Louise (Roy) Hachez of Bow, his daughter, Shelley Wright and her husband Matthew of Greenfield, N.H.; his son Brad Hachez and his wife Tamara of Goffstown, N.H.; his sister Anita Robichaud and her husband Robert of Laconia, N.H., his sister Henriette Brooks and her husband James of Etowah N.C.; his brother Roger Hachez and his wife Kathy of Pelham, N.H., his brother in law Ronald Roy of Berlin; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will not be held.
A Memorial Service with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at the N.H. Veteran’s Cemetery, Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, N.H.
