BERLIN, NH - Lothrop B. Stone, 70, died Saturday evening August 18, 2012, at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, after a short illness.Mr. Stone was born on February 10, 1942 in Bridgton, Me., son of Philip and Irene (Lesso) Stone.
Lothrop was raised in Tamworth and was a graduate of Kennett High School and worked as a lineman and an installer for Verizon, retiring in 2002. He moved from Massachusetts to Berlin five years ago. He enjoyed watching sports.
Family members include his wife Allyne M. (Traser) Stone of Berlin; three children, Doug Stone of Plymouth, Mass., Dawn Wade of Meredith and Dale Stone of Lincoln, NE; three sisters, June Crowell of Wonalancet, NH, Vicki Stone of Conway, Cynthia Stone of Fla., David Stone of Conway and Samuel Stone of Bartlett and several grandchildren.
At Lothrop’s request there are no services.
