Thursday, March 7
11:13 a.m. David Richardson, 40, Berlin, was given a traffic citation for speed.
Friday, March 8
3:29 p.m. Kali Esposito, 49, Lunenburg, Vt., was given a traffic citation for speed.
Saturday, March 9
12:23 p.m. Police responded to a two vehicle accident near the mill at Cascade Flats. The vehicle traveling north was on the wrong side of the road. There was minor damage.
6:13 p.m. Gorham police assisted Berlin police in removing a drunk and disorderly person.
Wednesday, March 13
11:06 a.m. A local business reported a bad check. It is under investigation.
5:10 p.m. Elizabeth Isaacson, 45, Gorham, was given a traffic citation for speed.
6:13 p.m. Police responded to Shelburne to assist with an out-of-control teenager.
Thursday, March 14
10:43 a.m. Police responded to an accident on Main Street. The driver of a vehicle traveling north apparently had a medical emergency and crossed the center line and hit a parked vehicle. There was extensive front end damage to that car and both vehicles had to be towed.
6:15 p.m. Police are investigating a hit and run accident in the Walmart parking lot.

6:44 a.m. Brian McBride, 55, Leominster, MA., was given a traffic citation for speed.
Saturday, March 16
12:17 p.m. Police responded to a minor accident in the Save-a-Lot parking lot. One vehicle pulling out of a parking spot hit another.
8:24 p.m. Sarah Lettre, 37, Gorham, was arrested for DWI. She was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of March 20. She was also given a traffic citation for driving left of center.
Sunday, March 17
9:43 a.m. Patrick Finnegan, 50, Huntington Station, NY, was given a traffic citation for speed.
Monday, March 18
10:02 p.m. Bradley Ruel, 42, Gorham, was arrested for simple assault. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 16.
Wednesday, March 20
2:36 a.m. Berlin police asked Gorham to be on the lookout for someone walking on Route 16 who was breaking vehicle mirrors along the way. Police did find an intoxicated male and he was taken into protective custody.
8:04 a.m. Police responded to a head-on in front of the Town and Country. One of the vehicles hit slush in the road and the driver lost control, crossed the center line and hit a vehicle going in the opposite direction. Both refused medical treatment.
Thursday, March 21
8:21 p.m. A woman reported when she was out running, a male appeared to be following her. The person was found and denied following the woman. He was told to stay away from the woman.
Friday, March 22
1:31 a.m. Cynthia Neil, 56, Berlin, was arrested for DWI and criminal threatening. She was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 2.

Berlin District Court March 26

Berlin District Court was in session on March 26 and the following cases were heard.
Jessica A. Dale, 19, Berlin was found guilty of simple assault and fined $372.
A complaint of unlawful possession of alcohol against Kevin J. Mulligan, 16, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. He must complete the Third Millenium Program.
Jean L. Kenney, 41, Gilford, was found guilty of possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. She was fined $434 and sentenced to the House of Corrections for 12 months, deferred 12 months on one year of good behavior. She must have an LADAC evaluation.
Complaints of criminal mischief and reckless driving against David Price, 35, Milan, were placed on file without a finding on six months of good behavior. He must pay $250 restitution to the victim.
Brian Rayner, 58, Berlin, was found guilty of criminal mischief and fined $310. He must pay restitution of $50. He was also found guilty of disorderly conduct and fined $310. A second complaint of criminal mischief was nol prossed.
Matthew Lemelin, 25, Berlin, was found guilty of DWI and fined $620. His license was suspended for nine months and he was referred to the IDCMP program. A complaint of acts prohibited (marijuana) was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. A second complaint of DWI was nol prossed.
A complaint of text messaging in use while driving a motor vehicle against Deserae M. Morin, 26, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior.
Jeffrey R. Lauze, 48, Berlin, was found guilty of DWI and fined $620. Her license was revoked for nine months and he was referred to the IDCMP program.
A complaint of simple assault against Sean M. Hayes, 25, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior.
Riley S. Webster, 21, Whitefield, was found guilty of operating without a valid license and fined $124.
Steven Law, 14, Berlin, was found guilty of possession and use of tobacco products by a minor and fined $62.
Brian M.Corey, 25, Bethlehem, was found guilty of possession of a controlled drug/narcotic (marijuana) and was fined $434. Complaints of transportation of drugs in a motor vehicle and a second complaint of possession of a controlled drug/narcotic (marijuana) were nol prossed.
Marcel Mason, 27, Berlin, was found guilty of disorderly conduct and fined $310.
Andrew Rivard, 25, Berlin, was found guilty of disorderly conduct and fined $310.
A complaint of acts prohibited (possession of marijuana) against Thomas Pickford, 41, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. He was undergo an LADAC evaluation.
Farhad Ghassemi, 18, Cambridge, MA, was found guilty of speed and fined $206.67.
Thomas Leger, 57, Berlin, was found guilty of disorderly actions and fined $124. A charge of public urination or defecation was nol prossed.

Berlin Police responded to 468 calls for service between March 21 and March 25. Among them were the following.
Thursday, March 21
1:32 p.m. Amanda Favreau, 27, Gorham, was given a traffic citation for non-inspection.
6:44 p.m. Police are investigating a break-in at a residence on High Street. No information on what, if anything, was taken was available.
7:33 p.m. Police responded to a report of suspicious activity. A caller reported a lady dressed in black was walking back and forth along Route 110. She was gone when police arrived.
8:35 p.m. Police received a report from a resident on Madison Ave. of two juveniles stealing lights off a fence.
Friday, March 22
8:27 a.m. A Community Street resident reported slashed tires.
10:59 a.m. Ronald Wright, 39, Berlin, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of June 10.
3:02 p.m. Angela Robbins, 28, Berlin, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled drug. She was released on $1,000 cash bail. No court date was available.
5:01 p.m. Andy Hudon, 36, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. He was released on $250 cash bail and given a court date of April 10.
7:02 p.m. Police received a report of a 4-year boy bitten by a dog. No further information was available.
9:50 p.m. Peter Mudgett, 25, Durham, was arrested on a warrant for theft. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
10:21 p.m. Catherine Shotts, 37, Berlin, was arrested for operating after suspension. She was released on $350 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
11:49 p.m. Jeremiah Pinette, 18, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled drug in a motor vehicle, transportation of alcohol by a minor, and acts prohibited. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.

10:44 a.m. Police received a report that someone tried to return items to a store and there was no record of sale of the items.
10:55 a.m. Police responded to a report on Ottawa St. of kids pouring soda on a vehicle. It turned out to be a landlord/tenant issue.
11:43 a.m. Arianna Marquis, 26, Danvers, MA., was given a summons for operating without a valid license. She was given an April 30 court date.
1:30 p.m. Police received a report from a resident that they had gotten a phone call saying they were about to be sued civilly. It's a scam.
6:50 p.m. Ronald Nadeau, 47, Berlin, was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and acts prohibited. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 3.
8:01 p.m. Jessica Lakin, 26, Berlin, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. She was released on $202.50 cash bail and given a court date of April 30.
8:56 p.m. Heather Norman, 18, Berlin, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. She was released on $149 cash bail and given a court date of April 30.
9:32 p.m. Starr Letarte, 54, Berlin, was arrested for theft. She was released on $350 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
10:42 p.m. Police responded to a noise complaint on Goebel Street and made seven arrests.
Andrea Stebbins, 33, Gorham, was arrested for open container and drinking in public. She was released on $350 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
Lucas Bellanceau, 18, Berlin, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol. He was released on $350 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
Brannon Walker, 17, Alton, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol. He was released on $350 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
Benjamin Leighton, 26, Berlin, was arrested for prohibited sale. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
Anthony Heath, 26, Berlin, was arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
Cody Haas, 18, Berlin, was arrested for unlawful possession of alcohol. He was released on $350 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
Chance Bellanceau, 20, Berlin, was arrested for prohibited sales. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
Sunday, March 24
12:52 p.m. Police received a report of a drug deal taking place in an apartment of Park Street and that someone was holding someone else by the throat and stabbing them. It was found to be unfounded.
2:26 p.m. Matthew Jones, 22, Berlin, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. He was released on $500 cash bail and given a court date of April 2.
3:45 p.m. Mark O. Harris, 47, Berlin, was given a summons for operating without a valid license. He was given a court date of April 30.
Monday, March 25
4:12 a.m. Police received a call from a Rockingham Street resident who had purchased a watch at a flea market. The seller had taken a picture of his debit card and the security number for payment. He was concerned about that. Police advised him to contact his bank.

Berlin Woman Arrested on I-93

State police arrested a man and a woman on Interstate 93 Friday, March 29, after finding a substantial amount of heroin and money inside their car.
The arrest, which took place at 4:36 p.m., was made on the northboundside of the highway after State Trooper Chad Lavoie observed a 2008 Mazda traveling in the emergency breakdown lane.
After Lavoie stopped the vehicle for unsafe operation, the driver of the car, Robert T. Correale, 35, of Lady Lake, Fla. was charged with possession and transportation of narcotic drugs.
The passenger in the vehicle – Marissa J. Santos, 24, of Berlin, was determined to have a felony warrant for her arrest for possession of a narcotic drug. She was taken into custody and found to be in possession of more narcotics.
Santos is being held at the Rockingham County Jail for the warrant, a 72-hour probation hold, and for an additional felony charge of possession of a narcotic drug.
Correale is being held at the Rockingham County Jail on the charge of possession of a narcotic drug with intent to distribute for lack of $5,000 cash bail.
