BerlinDistrict Court March 20
Berlin District Court was in session on March 20 and the following cases were heard.
Douglass C. Aikens, 42, Milan/Dummer, was found guilty of DWI 2nd offense and fined $620. He was referred to the IDCMP program and his license was suspended for 18 months. He was also found guilty of reckless operation and fined $500. He will spend time in the House of Corrections in lieu of paying the fine and had his license revoked for 60 days. He was also found guilty of operating without a valid license and fined $310.
He was also found guilty on one count of simple assault and sentenced to the House of Corrections for 12 months. He was credited with 33 days of pre-trial confinement.
Aikens was also found guilty on two counts of criminal mischief. On one count he was sentenced to 12 months in the House of Corrections, suspended on one year of good behavior. He must pay $1,264 restitution to the victim within one year. On the second charge he was sentenced to the House of Corrections, suspended on one year of good behavior. He must pay $150 to the Gorham Police Department within six months.
Aikens was also found guilty of default or breach of bail conditions and sentenced to the House of Corrections for 168 days, deferred 90 days upon successful entry and completion of the 28-day program.
Complaints of disobeying an officer and taking without owner consent against Aikens were placed on file without a finding on two years of good behavior. Five complaints, driving after revocation or suspension, aggravated DWI, criminal mischief and two counts of simple assault against Aikens were nol prossed.
Complaints of disorderly conduct and simple assaults against Jeremiah Baillargeon, 17, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior.
Devin Buckley, 20, Berlin, was found guilty of possession of a controlled/narcotic drug and fined $434. A complaint of default or breach of bail conditions was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior.
Natalie Bergeron, 20, Berlin, was found guilty of disorderly actions and fined $124.
Daniel Donato, 23, Berlin, was found guilty of acts prohibited (marijuana) and fined $500, $150 suspended on one year of good behavior.
Shari Reid, 45, Berlin, was found guilty of negligent driving and fined $310. Her license was revoked for 30 days. A complaint of reckless operation was nol prossed.

Berlin District Court was in session on March 12 and the following cases were heard.
Christopher Rodgers, 43, Douglas, MA, was found guilty of simple assault and fined $620.
Mason Ringuette, 19, Berlin, was guilty of criminal trespass. He was fined $310 and ordered to have no contact with the victim or family. A second complaint of criminal trespass was placed on file without a finding on 12 months of good behavior and no contact with the victim or family.
Eric Roy, Gorham, was found guilty of violation of the town's noise ordinance and fined $186.
Gary P. Lepage, 46, Berlin, was found guilty of DWI and fined $500. His license was revoked for nine months. He must complete a Dept. of Health and Human Services' approved impaired driver education program.
A complaint of possession of tobacco products by a minor against Brianna Landry, 15, Gorham, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. She must perform 20 hours of community service.
Probable cause was found on a complaint of attempt to deliver articles to prisoners against Vincent Bitetto, 25, Northfield. He was bound over to superior court.
Amber Rich, 17, Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of alcohol and fined $372.
A complaint of possession anduse of tobacco products by a minor against Zachary Landry, 13, Gorham, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. He must perform 20 hours of community service.
A complaint of driving after revocation or suspension against Victor DeJesus Polanco, 30, Derry, was placed on file without a finding on six months of good behavior.
A complaint of possession and use of tobacco products by a minor against Trevor Theriault, 15, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. He must perform 20 hours of community service.
Kerri Bilodeau, 17, Cranston, R.I., was found guilty of unlawful possession of alcohol and fined $372.
A complaint of unlawful possession of alcohol against Travis Lapoint, 18, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. He must complete the Third Millennium Program.
A complaint of unlawful possession of alcohol against Ethan Dorval,18, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. He must complete the Third Millennium Program.
Edward Stenovith, 17, Cranston, R.I., was found guilty of unlawful possession of alcohol and fined $372.
A complaint of unlawful possession of alcohol against Emma Dorval, 16, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. She must complete the Third Millennium Program.
A complaint of unlawful possession of alcohol against Miranda Blake, 18, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. She must complete the Third Millennium Program.
Berlin District Court was in session on March 13 and the following cases were heard.
Latrisha S. McLaurin, 30, Detroit, Mich., failed to appear to answer the charge of driving after revocation or suspension, and a warrant was issued.
Samantha Lam, 22, Berlin, was found guilty of willful assignment and fined $620. She was also sentenced to 60 days in the House of Corrections, defered on one year of good behavior. She may not go onto Walmart property.

8:27 p.m. James Essig, 47, Berlin, was given a traffic citation for failure to yield.
10:17 p.m. Police responded to a report of a fight at the Millyard Restaurant. One person was brought home. No charges were filed.

5:07 p.m. Matthew Jones, 22, Berlin was arrested on a bench warrant and a charge of driving after revocation. He was released on a bail of $185 on the bench warrant and $350 personal recognizance on the second charge. He has a court date of April 2.

5:47 p.m. Police responded to a report of an assault at a residents on Riverside Dr. between two adult males. No charges were pursued.
6:19 p.m. Justin Elsea, 18, Berlin, was arrested on two counts of theft from a motor vehicle and one of contempt. He was released on a $2,500 cash bail and given a court date of April 30.

2:27 a.m. Police received a report of a mirror being broken off a motor vehicle.
9:39 p.m. A Cheshire Street residents called reporting someone was pounding at the door. Police arrived and had him removed.

12:14 a.m. Hannah Hallett, 41, Berlin was arrested for simple assault. She was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of May 28.
