Berlin Police Log Mar 7-11

Berlin police responded to 289 calls for service between March 7 and March 11. Among them were the following.
Thursday, March 7
1:21 p.m. Police responded to a two vehicle accident on Pleasant Street. There was some spillage, but no injuries. Samantha Miller, 25, Gorham, was given a traffic citation for failure to obey a traffic control device.
3:29 p.m. Paul Nobile, 49, currently in State Prison, was arrested on a charge of unlawful use of a propelled vehicle (car) and given a court date of April 2.
Friday, March 8
7:59 a.m. Gregory McNichol, 27, Philadelphia, Penn., was given a traffic citation for speed in a school zone.
9:49 a.m. Erin Husk, 36, Sugar Hill, was given a traffic citation for speed.
10:21 a.m. Michelle Doucette, 29, unknown address, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant out of Merrimack County for violation of probation. Merrimack County sent someone up to get her.
11:04 a.m. Jillian Paradis, 30, Berlin, was arrested for driving after revocation. She was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 30.
12:09 p.m. Dewey Martin, 30, Berlin, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. He was released on $288 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 2.
1:55 p.m. Mark Norris, 30, Berlin, was given a traffic citation for non-inspection.
4:53 p.m. Lance Lalumiere, 47, Berlin, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. He was released on $250 cash bail and given a court date of April 2.
7:26 p.m. Scott Paley McNeff, 26, Providence, R.I. was issued a summons for speed. He was given a court date of April 2.
Saturday, March 9
3:52 a.m. James Kadlick, 18, Berlin, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant for unlawful possession of alcohol. He was released on a bail of $250 cash and $500 personal recognizance and given a court date of April 2.
6:59 p.m. Police responded to a domestic altercation between a parent and adult daughter. Both were advised of their rights.
7:10 p.m. Police received a report of a Berlin resident getting threats by phone. The victim will attempt to get a stalking order.
8:33 p.m. Jessica Dale, 19, Berlin, was arrested for simple assault. She was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of March 26.
Sunday, March 10
11:16 a.m. Police received a report that a 13-year old girl had her heart burn medications taken at a birthday party.
1:27 p.m. Katie Wu, 20, Berlin, was given a traffic citation for speed.
Monday, March 11
7:25 a.m. Police received a report from a Derrah Street resident that someone had siphoned gas out of a pickup truck.
8:37 a.m. Police received a report of a threat made by a person with mental issues against hospital staff. That person was spoken to.

Berlin police responded to 222 calls for service between March 3 and March 6. Among them were the following.
Monday, March 3
9:59 a.m. An Elm Street resident reported their residence had been egged again.
10:41 a.m. A Prospect Street resident reported their car had been stolen. It was found later in Gorham.
1:21 p.m. Travis Melton, 39, Berlin, was arrested on a charge of simple assault. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 2.
Tuesday, March 4
4:53 p.m. Robert Goodrich, 25, Berlin, was issued a summons for disorderly actions, city ordinance.
5:32 p.m. Police received a report that a male was yelling from the second floor of a residence on Willow Street at a juvenile using bad language. The subject was spoken to.
11:38 p.m. Police responded to an accident on Wood Street. The driver of a vehicle struck a parked vehicle.
Wednesday, March 5
9:23 a.m. Derek Enman, 25, Berlin, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. He was released on $250 cash bail and given a court date of March 20.
9:45 a.m. Police received a report from a Berlin resident that someone may have stolen his license and social security card in Connecticut. He was advised to contact Connecticut police.
10:59 a.m. Nicholas Whitelaw, 23, Berlin, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. He was released on $125 cash bail and given a court date of April 30.
11:08 a.m. An Abenaki Lane resident reported fraudulent use of a credit card. Someone used it in an ATM without his permission.
11:22 a.m. Jacquelyn Campbell, 26, Berlin, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. She was released on $250 cash bail and given a court date of April 30.
11:24 a.m. A State Street resident reported a male had broken his windshield the night before.
12:00 p.m. Police received a report from a male that someone he was staying with may have stolen his prescription medication.
7:37 p.m. Curtis Gagnon, 23, Berlin, was arrested on a warrant. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 8.

Gorham Police Feb 28 - Mar. 6

Thursday, Feb. 28
8:45 p.m. Police received a report of a running vehicle at Bob Burns Auto. No one was sure why it was running as the business was closed for the day. The vehicle was shut off and the building secured.
Friday, Mar. 1
9:42 a.m. Ronald Young, 50, Berlin, was given a traffic citation for speed.
10:01 a.m. A Gorham resident reported their vehicle was hit and damaged. They are not sure where or when. It is under investigation.
10:52 a.m. Kelley Trucking reported catalytic converters were stolen out of three vehicles.
11:53 p.m. A vehicle hit a moose on Route 2 in Randolph. The vehicle had to be towed and the driver was transported to Berlin.
Saturday, Mar. 2
8:26 a.m. Erica Drew, 36, Gorham was arrested on two counts of prohibited sales, providing alcohol to minors. She was released on $750 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of April 16.
11:03 a.m. Shayna Raymond, 28, Groveton, was given a traffic citation for speed.
12:06 p.m. A Berlin resident reported a Gorham resident got into a verbal argument with her at Walmart. It was determined the incident was not criminal in nature and she was advised she could seek a restraining order.
2:47 p.m. Police responded to an accident by Cumberland Farms. A snow machine rolled over. The male driver was taken to AVH.
4:13 p.m. A Gorham resident reported while he was at work at Gorham Dynasty Buffet, he was assaulted by another employee. It is under investigation.
Sunday, Mar. 3
3:05 a.m. Gorham police assisted Berlin, transporting a subject to the Royalty Inn.
12:22 p.m. Police responded to an accident at Vashaw's Variety. A snow machine hit a gas pump, damaging it.
4:19 p.m. Police received a report that two people had their wallets stolen from the locker room while at the Royalty Athletic Club.
7:08 p.m. A Berlin resident reported while at the parking lot at Vashaw's Variety, they had a paper plate stolen off the back of their vehicle.
Monday, Mar. 4
9:04 a.m. Police responded to a minor accident in the parking lot of Northway Bank. One vehicle backed into another.
4:12 p.m. Police responded to an accident on Promenade Street. A vehicle hit a home causing damage and left the scene. Police were able to locate the person and information was exchanged.
Tuesday, Mar. 5
1:08 p.m. James Cochran, 46, Intervale, was given a traffic citation for speed.
1:53 p.m. A Gorham resident reported two prescription medications may have been taken from the home. It is under investigation.
3:12 p.m. A male reported while he was using the bathroom at Walmart, someone in the next stall was taking photos under the dividing wall.
5:23 p.m. A male reported his ex-girlfriend had taken their child. Investigation showed she had a legal right to have the child.
8:16 p.m. Police received a report that the paternal grandmother of the child in the previous incident was making harassing phone calls to the mother of the child. Both parties were spoken to
Wednesday, Mar. 6
12:10 a.m. Police received a report from a Gorham resident of an assault that took place at the residence on Promenade Street. It is under investigation.
2:45 p.m. Police received a report from a Gorham resident that a woman he had met on line was trying to extort money from him. Police are waiting for a written report from the victim.
2:55 p.m. Police received a report from Proquip Equipment that a branch of the business in another location had received $20,000 in bad checks.

Berlin District Court March 5&6

Berlin District Court was in session on March 5 and the following cases were heard.
Dennis Thomas, 58, Berlin, was found guilty of open container and fined $150.
Aaron P. Blais, 27, Berlin, was found guilty of drinking in public and fined $150.A charge of open container was nol prossed.
A complaint of transportation of alcohol by a minor against Benjamin N. Marasco, 19, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. He must complete the Third Millennium Program. A traffic complaint of front lights was nol prossed.
Daniel Desgranges, 56, Jewitt City, Conn. was found guilty of reckless driving and fined $620. His license was suspended for 60 days.
Heather Charron, 23, Berlin, was found guilty of disorderly actions – open container, city ordinance and fined $75.
Dennis J. Tabak, 43, Berlin, was found guilty of dog running at large and fined $62.
Amaless M. Agosto, 21, Peabody, Ma. was found guilty of acts prohibited, marijuana, and fined $434.
John Dumas, 30, N. Stratford, was found guilty of acts prohibited, marijuana and fined $620.
John N. Grondin, 26, Berlin, was found guilty of timber trespass and fined $310.
Berlin District Court was in session on March 6 and the following cases were heard.
Rene R. Bourbeau, 46 Berlin, was found guilty of DWI. His license was revoked for two years and he was referred to the Impaired Driver Care Management Program (IDCMP). He was fined $930. A charge of open container was nol prossed.
Daniel L.Hilliard, 40, Berlin, was found guilty of disorderly conduct and fined $253. A complaint of default or breach of bail conditions was placed on file without a finding on two years of good behavior.
Hilliard was found guilty of violation of a protective order and fined $248. He was sentenced to 90 days in the House of Corrections, suspended on one year of good behavior. He was placed on probation for one year.
A complaint of issuing bad checks against Sueann M. Perry, 38, Berlin, was placed on file without a finding on one year of good behavior. She must pay restitution of $50.53.
Nika M. Wedge, 22, Gorham, was found guilty of hindering apprehansion or prosecution and sentence to the House of Corrections for 90 days, 60 days suspended on one year of good behavior, and placed on probation for two years.
Kristin Block, 31, Berlin, was found guilty of simple assault and fined $124.
