Berlin District Court
Jacob P. Rex, 18, Milan/Dummer, was found guilty of facilitating a drug or underage alcohol party and fined $372. He was also found guilty of unlawful possession of alcohol and fined $372. A complaint of possession of controlled/narcotic drugs was nol prossed.
Sara Tremblay, 24, Berlin, was found guilty of hindering apprehension or prosecution and fined $535, with $350 suspended on one year of good behavior. She was also sentenced to 30 days in the House of Corrections, suspended on one year of good behavior.
Lucas MacLean, 21, Berlin, was found guilty of false fire alarms and sentenced to six months in the House of Corrections, consecutive to his current sentence in the State Prison.

2:59 p.m. Brandon Roy, 19, Gorham, was arrested for criminal threatening with a deadly weapon. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of June 4.
Saturday, April 20
2:02 p.m. Reginald Brown, 67, Bethel, Me., was given a traffic citation for speed.
6:18 p.m. Police received a report from a man who was calling from Walmart who said his ex-wife had hit him and yelled at him. Shari Reid, 45, Berlin, was arrested for simple assault and criminal threatening. She was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of June 4.
Sunday, April 21
4:16 a.m. Police received a report that a Gorham juvenile reported runaway was seen in Berlin.
11:16 a.m. Police responded to what turned out to be a three car accident in front of Welch's. One driver's foot, while attempting to back up, slipped off the break and hit the gas, hitting the car in front, which hit the next car in front. There was minor damage and no injuries but two vehicles had to be towed.
12:03 p.m. Walmart reported two suspicious persons were attempting to return merchandise they had not purchased. They were given no trespass letters.
8:33 p.m. A male resident on Washington Street asked police for assistance in removing his girlfriend. Monday, April 22
9:57 a.m. George Spear, 52, Otisfield, Me., was given a traffic citation for unlawful passing on the left.
9:35 p.m. Police received a report of suspicious activity. A woman had stopped behind Shaw's. Police asked her to leave.
Tuesday, April 23
10:28 a.m. A Gorham resident reported receiving a phone call from a computer software company saying they could fix her computer problem. She doesn't have a problem with her computer. It was probably a scam
3:12 p.m. A Gorham resident reported getting a “ticket” from the Massachusetts Dept. of Transportation for not stopping at a toll booth. The registration on the ticket however was an old one that expired in 2006. That was also probably a scam.

7:51 a.m. The town recreation department reported damage, spray paint, to dugouts on Promenade Street.
Thursday, April 25
5:25 a.m. Police responded to an open line 911 call, where they could hear and male and female arguing. April Baillargeon, 37, Gorham, was arrested on two counts of simple assault. She refused bail.

3:10 p.m. Police responded to a minor accident in the Save-a-Lot parking lot. A vehicle pulling out hit a vehicle going by. There were no injuries.
4:58 p.m. Police responded a report of a theft. A landlord was reporting a former tenant in a residence on Glen Road stole a mailbox.

11:58 a.m. Police received an anonymous complaint of suspected drug activity at a local hotel. Dawn Adams, 47, Casco, Me., and Joanne Merritt, 62, Sebago, Me., were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug. Both received $350 personal recognizance bail and were given a May 14 court date.
12:46 p.m. Police responded to a breach of the peace complaint on North Main Street. A woman didn't want her soon to be ex-husband on the property.

11:46 a.m. Lisa Dimondstein, Hyde Park, Vt., was given a traffic citation for speed.

7:14 p.m. Police responded to a report of a domestic in Cascade Flats. It involved two males arguing over money.

5:57 a.m. Police responded to an accident on Route 2 in Shelburne, car versus tractor trailer. A tractor trailer was turning left into the chipping plant. The car behind didn't see a directional and tried to pass.
3:31 p.m. Police received a report from Walmart of two females shoplifting.

4:35 a.m. Nathaniel E. Kibby, 31, Gorham, was given a traffic citation for speed.
1:57 p.m. Police responded to an accident on Route 16 by Libby Pool. The driver of a vehicle traveling north lost control and went an embankment. There were no injuries.
5:03 p.m. Tina Roy, 40, Berlin, was given a must appear summons for operating after suspension. She was given a court date of May 14.
9:57 p.m. Nathalie Thayer, 48, S. Deerfield, Mass., was given a traffic citation for speed.

7:09 p.m. Police received a report of an accident in the Walmart parking lot. There were no injuries but a vehicle received damage to the front bumper and got a flat tire.

5:08 a.m. Berlin police responded to Top Furniture to help Gorham search the building. Gorham had found an open door. Nothing was found.
5:29 a.m. Berlin police responded to Exchange Street in Gorham to help with a domestic situation after Gorham received an open 911 line.
11:28 a.m. An Abenaki Lane resident reported slashed tires.
2:46 p.m. Derek Enman, 25, Berlin, was arrested for contempt of court. He was released on $500 cash bail and given a court date of May 28.
3:19 p.m. A port-a-potty was knocked over on Memorial Lane by three juveniles. Police know who they are and the incident is under investigation.
3:32 p.m. Jonathan Bailey, 22, Berlin, was arrested for driving after suspension. He was released on $350 personal recognizance bail and given a court date of May 28.

12:56 p.m. Police received a report that someone apparently tried to burn a picnic table in PSNH Park.
2:32 p.m. A Strafford Street resident reported an egged vehicle.
3:10 p.m. Kendall Charest, 25, Berlin, was given a traffic citation for uninspection.
8:12 p.m. Chad Blais, 39, Berlin, was arrested for theft (shoplifting). He was transported to the House of Corrections.

4:09 p.m. A Western Avenue resident reported someone keeps taking down his yard sale signs.

12:47 a.m. Police checked Middle Earth. There were no lights on inside and there should have been.
12:53 p.m. Police received a report of someone suspicious walking on Route 110. The person was given a ride to the city line.
1:52 a.m. Police received a report from a Burgess Street resident that a neighbor was banging on their door saying she had been assaulted. Police responded and took the woman, who was intoxicated, to the hospital.
1:10 p.m. Police received a report from IGA of someone shoplifting. It is under investigation.
1:56 p.m. Police received a report from a Main Street resident that money had been taken from them.
5:08 p.m. Pam Beaulieu, 36, Berlin, was arrested for theft. She was released on $500 cash bail and given a court date of May 28.
5:46 p.m. A theft was reported by a School Street resident. Various items are missing.
9:40 p.m. Police received a report of a juvenile in Community Field. Police responded to make sure the juvenile was leaving, as the field was closed.

7:21 p.m. A Maple Street resident reported a neighbor was destroying their property. It is under investigation.
