In First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on Tuesday, Nov. 8, the following cases were heard:
Katlyn Waninger, 29, 83 Main St., Gorham, was found guilty on two charges of simple assault and one charge of resisting arrest. Waninger was ordered to serve three concurrent sentences of six months in the Grafton County House of Corrections with credit for time served of 115 days, suspended for six months on the condition she maintains good behavior for two years upon release and that she meaningfully participate in a licensed adult drug counseling / mental health evaluation and follow all recommendations including treatment and educational programs. She must appear in court monthly to assess her compliance and she must remain on probation for two years following her conviction. Waninger also was ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620 with the option to perform 62 hours of community service in lieu of payment. In addition, for violating the terms of her probation she was ordered to serve six months in the Grafton County House of Corrections concurrent with the above sentences with credit for time served of 115 days. Two charges of criminal threatening and charges of disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and domestic violence-simple assault were nolle prossed.
Brian Theriault, 43, 111 Rheims St., Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of marijuana and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434 with $310 suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year.
Kaylie McDonough, 18, 559 Hillsboro St., Berlin, was charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol which was placed on file without a finding on the condition she maintains good behavior for one year and that she complete the 3rd Millennium Program within 45 days of her court date and file proof of completion with the Berlin Police Department.
Frank J. Edmondson, 29, 79 Jimtown Road, Gorham, was found guilty of operating an Off Highway Recreation Vehicle on private property without permission of the owner and ordered to pay a fine of $74.40. A charge of operating an OHRV at unreasonable speed on the Rail Trail in Gorham was placed on file without a finding on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year.
Shakira Bilodeau, 30, 61 Grange Road, Lancaster, was charged with knowingly acquiring a controlled drug without the authority to do so which was placed on file without a finding on the condition she maintains good behavior for one year and that she receive counseling with quarterly reports to be filed with the Gorham Police Department.
Patricia Hamilton, 37, 463 Alpine St., Berlin, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620, and complete the Impaired Driver Care Management Program. Hamilton also lost her license to operate a motor vehicle for nine months with the opportunity to petition the court for early reinstatement after three months.
Roman Cornelius, 27, Designated Receiving Facility, 54 Green St., Laconia, was charged with harassment for making offensive calls to the dispatcher at the Berlin Police Department, and for making a false report to law enforcement claiming he was being robbed. The charges were placed on file without a finding on the condition Cornelius maintains good behavior for one year, and that he comply with the rules and programs at the Laconia facility where he resides.
