In First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on Wednesday, December 14, the following cases were heard:
Pamela Throneberry-Perkins, 45, 361 School St., Berlin, was found guilty on two charges of simple assault and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620 and to serve two six-month terms concurrently in the Grafton County House of Corrections. The fine and jail sentences were suspended on the condition she maintains good behavior for three years and that she has no contact with the victim. Four additional charges of simple assault were nolle prossed.
Aaron Throneberry-Perkins, 42, 361 School St., Berlin, was found guilty of endangering the welfare of a child and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620, and complete a parenting class with proof of completion filed with the Berlin Police Department within 90 days of his conviction. A charge of simple assault was nolle prossed.
Nelson E. Gallant, 63, 540 North Road, Shelburne, was charged with simple assault-physical contact-bodily injury which was placed on file without a finding on the condition he maintains good behavior for two years, that he participates in family counseling and anger management counseling, and that he turns in his concealed weapon permit for two years. An additional charge of simple assault-physical contact-bodily injury was nolle prossed.
Christopher Stiasny, 22, 179 Willow St., Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of marijuana and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620 and to serve 12 months in the Coos County House of Corrections. The jail sentence was suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year and that he report to probation for six months.
Jesse Merrill, 31, PO Box 412, Dixfield, Maine, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $930, and to complete the Impaired Driver Care Management Program. Merrill also lost his license to operate a vehicle in the state of New Hampshire for 12 months with the opportunity to petition the court for early reinstatement after six months. Two charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated and charges of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, unlawful transporting of a controlled drug and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle were nolle prossed.
Jesse Labelle, 36, 594 Cheshire St., Berlin, was found guilty of simple assault and ordered to serve 30 days in the Coos County House of Corrections which was suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year.
Christopher Chasse, 41, 692 Third Ave., Berlin, was found guilty of domestic violence-simple assault-physical contact and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $970 with $930 suspended, and to serve 30 days in the Coos County House of Corrections, which was suspended. The condition of the suspensions is that Chasse maintains good behavior for one year.
Nicholas Roy, 28, 21 Duguay St., Berlin, was found guilty of allowing an improper person to operate his vehicle and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $124.
Dillon Johnson, 21, 184 Main St., Colebrook, was charged with domestic violence-simple assault-physical contact, which was dismissed because the alleged victim did not want to proceed.
Ahmed Abo, 18, 75 University St., Auburn, Maine, was found guilty of operating a vehicle without a valid license to do so and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310. A charge of speeding was nolle prossed.
Jeffrey Letarte, 41, 424 Goebel St., Berlin, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620, and to complete the Impaired Driver Care Management Program. Letarte also lost his license to operate a vehicle for 9 months with the opportunity to petition the court for early reinstatement after 90 days. A second charge of driving while intoxicated was nolle prossed. Letarte also was charged with criminal trespass which was placed on file with a finding and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $372 which was suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year.
Tristen Gaulin, 19, 901 6th Ave., Berlin, was charged with negligent driving which was nolle prossed.
Ernest Dexter, 70, 48 New Durham Road, Middleton, was found guilty of violating the City of Berlin’s ordinance prohibiting the storing of junk motor vehicles in an area of the city where such activity is prohibited and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $150.
