1st Circuit Court – District Division Berlin – February 14, 2017

In First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on February 14, the following cases were heard:
Sheena Ridley, 26, 628 Burgess St., Berlin, was found guilty of simple assault and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620 with $310 suspended on the condition she maintains good behavior for one year.
Brian Pike, 28, 2 Twist Hill Road, Dunbarton, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle without a license to do so and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310 and to serve seven days in the Coos County House of Corrections. Pike also lost his license for 12 months and must install an interlock device for 12 months once his license is restored.
Jonah R. Eames, 20, 1070 Amity Road, Bethany, Conn., was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license to do so which was nolle prossed.
Mildred Arinella, 49, 653 Cheshire St., Berlin, was found guilty of simple assault and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620, and to serve 10 days in the Grafton County House of Corrections, both of which were suspended on the condition she maintains good behavior for one year. A charge of criminal threatening was placed on file with a finding of guilty on the condition she maintains good behavior for one year, and cannot be brought forward after February 14, 2018.
Kaylie McDonough, 19, 352 High St., Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of alcohol while under the age of 21 and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $372.
Ronald Reaves, 56, 12 Green Street Square, Berlin, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620, and to participate in the Impaired Driver Care Management Program (IDCMP). Reaves also lost his license to operate a motor vehicle for nine months with the opportunity to petition the court for early reinstatement after 90 days upon completion of the IDCMP. Reaves also was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle after his license to do so was suspended and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310 which was suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year. An additional charge of driving while intoxicated was nolle prossed, and a charge of having an open container of alcohol in the passenger area of his vehicle was placed on file without a finding on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year.
Jonathan Croft, 23, 616 Third Ave., Berlin, was found guilty of theft by unauthorized taking for taking $728 in cash from Walmart by voiding five cash transactions with five different customers. Croft was ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620 which was suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year. Croft must pay $728 in restitution to Walmart within eight months, payable through the Department of Corrections.
Nick J. Roy, 19, 11 School St., Gorham, was charged with failure to yield at a stop or yield sign on Madison Street in Berlin which was nolle prossed.
John P. Beaudoin, 50, 1371 NH Route 16, Dummer, was charged with driving his motor vehicle at a speed of 35 miles-per-hour in a 25-mile-per-hour zone on Sweden Street in Berlin which was placed on file without a finding on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year.
Cory Bertholdt, 37, 18 Rich St., Groveton, was charged with operating an uninspected vehicle on North Main Street in Gorham which was nolle prossed.
Sabin A. Khasin, 23, 46 Pleasant St., Lewiston, Maine, was found guilty of driving his motor vehicle at a speed of 75 miles-per-hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone on Lancaster Road in Gorham and ordered to pay a fine of $124.
Barry Richards, 30, 544 Burgess St., Berlin, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620, and to participate in the Impaired Driver Care Management Program (IDCMP). Richards also lost his license to operate a motor vehicle for nine months with the opportunity to petition the court for early reinstatement after 90 days upon completion of the IDCMP. A charge of driving under a suspended license was nolle prossed.
