First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, May 2

In First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on Tuesday, May 2, the following cases were heard:

Benjamin C. Alford, 36, 517 Champlain St., Berlin, was found guilty of operating an uninspected motor vehicle and was ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $74.40.

Sheena Kennedy, 28, 538 Burgess St., Berlin, was found guilty of violating a City of Berlin ordinance prohibiting littering and ordered to pay a fine of $20.

Bryan J. Sargent, 19, 4 Doucette Drive, Franklin, was found guilty of operating a vehicle at 50 miles per hour in a 40 mile-per-hour zone on Route 16 in Gorham and ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $62.

Christopher Bishop, 27, 694 Third Ave., Berlin, was found guilty of disorderly conduct for yelling and hollering in a private place that could be heard in another private place and ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $124.

Anthony Minasian, 28, 1 Gates Ave., Marlborough, Mass., was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug (marijuana) and ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $434. A charge of unlawful transportation of a controlled drug was nolle prossed.

Brandon Perkins, 22, 113 Harriman Hill Road, Raymond, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug (marijuana) and ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $434.

Nicole Martin, 30, 12 Livermore Ave., Berlin, was found guilty of willful concealment for concealing and altering price tags on merchandise at Walmart valued at less than $1,000. Martin was ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $310.

Jacklynn Jones, 33, 22 Wooddale Road, North Stratford, was found guilty of willful concealment for taking merchandise from Walmart valued at less than $1,000 without paying for it. Jones was ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $620 to be paid by performing 41.33 hours of community service within six months of her court date. Jones also was sentenced to serve 30 days in the Grafton County House of Corrections which was suspended on the condition she maintains good behavior for one year.

Ronald Carrington, 34, 4757 Sandy Shore Drive, Orlando, Fla., was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and ordered to pay a fine and penalty assessment of $600 and must complete the Impaired Driver Care Management Program. Carrington also lost his license to operate a motor vehicle for nine months with the opportunity to petition the court for early reinstatement after three months.
