Drug charges dominate May grand jury indictments

LANCASTER — Two Berlin men was indicted on seven felony drug charges by a Coos County grand jury meeting last Friday, May 19.
Ryan S. Albert, 24, and Brandon Delafontaine, 22, both of 653 Second Ave, Berlin were each indicted on four counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to sell and three counts of possession of a controlled drug. The drugs included marijuana (five pounds or more), LSD, psilocin mushrooms, hashish, and THC.
Jennifer Bernier, 41, of 112 Main St., Lancaster, was indicted on three counts of possession of a controlled drug (methamphetamine and pregbalin) with intent to sell.
Richard Phaneuf, 39, of 70 North Main St., Salem, Mass., was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled drug (cocaine).
Nicholas Dowland, 19, of 119 Rheims St., Berlin was indicted on one count of burglary and four counts of theft by unauthorized taking.
Joseph K. Haywood, 31, of Northern NH Correctional Facility, 138 East Milan Road, Berlin was indicted on a charge on assault by a prisoner.
Robert Berry, 44, of 981 Hugens St., Fyffe, AL., was indicted on three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, one count of felonious sexual assault, and one count of indecent exposure and lewdness.
Mark Cooper, 28, of 46 Preston Lane, Columbia was indicted on two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and one count of engaging in a pattern of sexual assault.
