First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on May 31

In First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on Wednesday, May 31, the following cases were heard:
Gerald Sayers, 53, PO Box 3417, Concord, was charged with issuing a bad check, which was nolle prossed.
Timothy N. Chaloux, 54, 331 Cedar Pond Drive, Milan, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and was ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434. A charge of unlawful transportation of a control drug was nolle prossed.
Kimberly Veno, 28, 591 Rockingham St., Berlin, was found guilty of domestic violence-simple assault-physical contact and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $670, with $620 suspended on the condition she maintains good behavior for one year and that she participates in counseling with quarterly reports on her participation provided to the state.
Ken B. Ficek, 65, 29 Lake St., Concord, was found guilty of reckless operation of a vehicle and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $980. Ficek also lost his license to operate a vehicle for 60 days. A charge of driving while intoxicated was dismissed.
Cody Chirichiello, 35, 2 Baldwin Road, Danvers, Mass., was found guilty of driving while intoxicated and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620, and to complete the Impaired Driver Care Management Program within 30 days of his conviction. Chirichiello also lost his license to operate a motor vehicle for nine months with the opportunity to petition the court for early reinstatement after three months.
Owen Beals, 17, 11 Gorham Heights Road, Gorham, was found guilty of reckless operation of a motor vehicle and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620. Beals also lost his license for 60 days. Charges of driving while intoxicated and conduct after an accident were nolle prossed.
Ronald Reaves, 56, 12 Green Street Square, Berlin, was found guilty of violating a protective order and sentenced to serve 180 days in the Coos County House of Corrections with credit for 35 days of time served, and all but 50 days of the balance suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year.
Aaron Reed, 36, PO Box 615, Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug (marijuana) and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434.
Ronald Jean, 47, 46 High St., Berlin, was found guilty of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $620, which was suspended on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year. Jean also was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $3,500 to the victim within 120 days of his court date.
