Grand jury returns 35 indictments

LANCASTER – The Coos County grand jury returned 35 indictments against 16 individuals during its June session.

Donald Bartlett, 36, of 54 South St., Apt. 3, Concord, Vt., was indicted on a charge of operating after certification as a habitual offender.

Brittany Beaton, 27, of 9 Maple St., Whitefield was indicted on three counts of possession of a controlled drug.

Britney Cross, 23, of 42 Portland St., Lancaster was indicted on two counts of sale of a controlled drug.

Roy “Scott” Doe, 44, of 15 Vaness St., Sanford, Maine was indicted on a count of endangering the welfare of a child under the age of 16.

Justin Dowland, 28, of 25 York St., Groveton was indicted on possession of a controlled drug, one count of attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and one count of manufacture of methamphetamine.

Terrance W. Hartley, 51, of Northern NH Correctional Facility, 138 East Milan Rd., Berlin was indicted on one count of first degree assault buy a prisoner, one count of second degree assault by a prisoner, and two counts of simple assault by a prisoner.

Casey J. Hynes, 26, of 25 Hawl Rd., Ossipee, was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled drug.

Arthur J. Jones, 26, of 105 Georgetowne Dr., Boston, and 46 High St, Berlin, was indicted on five counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to sell ( two of the charges involved in excess of five grams of cocaine and heroin) and one count of possession of a controlled drug.

Robert A. Lewis III, 39, of 53 Church St., Groveton was indicted on a count of operating a motor vehicle after certification as a habitual offender.

Jeffrey L. Mailhot, 40, of 124 Bog Rd., North Stratford, was indicted on a count of theft by deception and one count of financial exploitation of an elderly adult.

Jess Mason, 26, was indicted on a count of tampering with witnesses and informants.

Kyle McKenzie, 26, of 39 Bunker Hill, Lancaster, was indicted on one count of operating a motor vehicle after certification as a habitual offender.

Gary W. Silva, 54, of the Northern NH Correctional Facility, 138 East Milan Rd., Berlin was indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit falsifying physical evidence, one count of falsifying physical evidence and one count of tempering with witnesses and informants.

Andrew Soboleski, 24, of the Northern NH Correctional Facility, 138 East Milan Rd., Berlin was indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit falsifying physical evidence.

Jonathan L. Woodbury, 34, of the Northern NH Correctional Facility, 138 East Milan Rd., Berlin was indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit falsifying physical evidence, one count of falsifying physical evidence and three counts of simple assault by a prisoner.
