In First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on Tuesday, August 22, the following cases were heard:
Kaitlyn Adam, 18, 98 Mason St., Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434. Adam also was found guilty of being a minor in possession of alcohol and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310.
Samantha L. Braley, 19, 1886 Riverside Drive, Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, hash oil, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434. Braley also was found guilty of being a minor in possession of alcohol and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $372.
Chantal Lesperance, 34, 584 Goebel St., Berlin, was found guilty of operating a vehicle after her license to do so was suspended and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310. Lesperance also was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434. A charge of operating a vehicle after the registration was suspended was nolle prossed.
Lanson Stiles, 37, 741 Fifth Ave., Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434.
Marayah R. Hynes, 18, 231 Norway St., Berlin, was charged with avoiding the traffic signal on Hillside Avenue, which was placed on file without a finding on the condition she maintains good behavior for six months. Hynes also was found guilty of unlawful transport of alcohol by a minor and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310.
Lori Smith, 45, 509 Champlain St., Berlin, was found guilty of willful concealment for taking merchandise from Walmart valued at $63.47 without the authority to do so and was ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310.
Susan Wells, 59, 4 Elm St., Lancaster, was found guilty of operating a vehicle after her license to do so was suspended and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310. Wells also was found guilty of willful concealment for taking merchandise from Walmart valued at $21.92 without the authority to do so and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310 which was suspended on the condition she maintains good behavior for one year.
Erik Dow, 19, 26 Jewell St., Gorham, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434. A charge of misuse or failure to display license plates was placed on file without a finding on the condition he maintains good behavior for one year. A charge of unlawful transport of a controlled drug was nolle prossed.
Nathan Lunsmann, 18, 109 York St., Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434.
