1st Circuit Court – District Division Berlin – Tuesday, September 19, 2017


In First Circuit Court, District Division, Berlin, on Tuesday, September 19, the following cases were heard:

Ashley D. Hood, 20, 757 Sixth Ave., Berlin, was found guilty of operating a vehicle after her license to do so was suspended and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310. Hood also was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434. A second charge of operating a vehicle after her license was suspended, a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol and a charge of contempt of court were all nolle prossed.

Jonathan Erickson, 31, 105 Mercier St., Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $124.

Zlatan Sarajlic, 38, 16 Prospect St., Everett, Mass., was found guilty of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $930, complete the impaired driver care management program, and surrender his license for 24 months with the opportunity to petition the court for early reinstatement after 18 months. A second charge of driving under the influence of alcohol was nolle prossed.

Lisa Teske, 52, 11 Filmore Place, Gardiner, Maine, was charged with violating a traffic control device. The charge was placed on file without a finding on the condition she maintains good behavior for one year.

Ryan Prestin, 22, 850 Fourth Ave., Berlin, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $124. Two charges of dispensing an alcoholic beverage to a minor were nolle prossed.

Eric P. Poulin, 46, 576 Glen Ave., Berlin, was found guilty of willful concealment — theft — for taking Gillette razors and Family Wellness eye drops from the Family Dollar Store without paying for the items and was ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $310. Poulin also must pay restitution to the victim in the amount of $24.90 and file proof of payment with the Berlin Police Department.

Amber Buska, 21, 65 Windywood Road, Barre, Vt., was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $124.

Rex Lagle, 20, 668 Sherwood Glen, Somersworth, was found guilty of being a minor in the possession of alcohol and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $372. Charges of unlawful transport of alcohol by a minor and having an open container of alcohol in the passenger area of a vehicle were nolle prossed.

Joshua H. Clark, 33, 650 Blais St., Berlin, was found guilty of violating a City of Berlin ordinance prohibiting disorderly conduct and ordered to pay a fine of $100.

Troy Steller, 18, 16 River St., Gorham, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $124. A charge of unlawful transport of drugs in a motor vehicle was nolle prossed.

Ankit Patel, 29, 1725 Riverside Ave., Berlin, was charged with unlawful sale of tobacco to a minor; the charge was nolle prossed.

Peter Gelinis, 38, 341 Church St., Berlin, was charged with operating an off-road-vehicle on a public way, Route 110; the charge was nolle prossed.

Spencer L. Shannon, 19, 798 5th Ave., Berlin, was charged with operating a vehicle at a speed of 70 miles-per-hour in a 55 mile-per-hour zone on Route 16 in Pinkhams Grant; the charge nolle prossed.

Milan Robinson, 40, 826 Park St., South Paris, Maine, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and ordered to pay a fine and penalty of $434.
