LANCASTER – A Berlin man will serve 12 months in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to three charges in Coos County Superior Court last week.
Dakota Montminy, 21, of 411 School St., was found guilty of forgery and two misdemeanor counts of receiving stolen property. He received two 12-month sentences on the receiving stolen property charges, to be served concurrently. On the felony charge of forgery he received a sentence of two to four years in state prison, suspended for five years.
Montminy must make restitution of $275 to Berlin marketplace and enter and successful complete an intensive outpatient treatment program within 12 months of his release from the House of Correction. He will also be placed on probation for two years, which will terminate after 12 months if he remains violation free. Montminy received credit for 48 days of pretrial confinement.
