Coos Grand Jury indicts 20

LANCASTER – The Coos grand jury returned 69 indictments against 20 individuals when it met on Oct. 20.

• Tyler Baker, 29, of 13 Lancaster Road, Gorham, was indicted on a charge of second degree assault — domestic violence, alleging he “engaged in the strangulation” of an intimate partner.

• Michael Brewer, 19, of 391 Goebel St., Berlin, was indicted on one charge of second degree assault — domestic violence, two counts of domestic violence — criminal threatening, and one count of domestic violence — simple assault. The indictments allege he held a knife to the neck or throat of an intimate partner, threatened to kill the partner, and caused injury to his partner.

• Lauren Cave, 34, of 210 Main St., Bennington, Vt., was indicted on five counts of conspiracy to delivery articles to prisoners and one count of delivery of articles to prisoners at the state prison in Berlin.

• Erica Cheney, 31, of 17 Hobbs Ave., Nashua, was indicted on one count of conspiracy to delivery articles to prisoners and one count of delivery of articles to prisoners at the state prison in Berlin.

• Mark Cooper, 29, of 46 Preston Lance, Columbia, was indicted on one count of aggravated felonious sexual assault and one count of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault on a juvenile under 13 years of age.

• Joseph Courchesne, 31, of 801 Third Ave., Berlin, was indicted on four counts of second degree assault — domestic violence and one count of domestic violence — criminal threatening. The charges allege he engaged in the strangulation of an intimate partner and threatened to shoot his partner with a gun.

• Daniel Garneau, 35, of 417 Route 115, Twin Mountain was indicted on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card.

• Jacqueline Haas, 27, of 8 View St., Whitefield, was indicted on one count of possession of a drug (fentanyl) with intent to sell and seven Class A felony counts of possession of a controlled drug (amphetamine, fentanyl, tramadol, clonazepam, methamphetamine and hashish) having previously been convicted of a felony drug charge.

• Jeffrey Hardy, 30, of the Northern N.H. Correctional Facility, 138 East Milan Rd., Berlin, was indicted on a charge of conspiracy to commit delivery of articles to prisoners at the state prison in Berlin.

• Rene Hudon, 64, of 520 Champlain St., Berlin, was indicted on two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault.

• Sylvester Johnson, 62, of 400 Upton Road, Errol, was indicted on a charge of first degree assault – domestic violence and one count of second degree assault-domestic violence. The charges allege he fractured the hand of an intimate partner by striking it with a broom handle.

• Sean Leighton, 24, of the Northern N.H. Correctional Facility, 138 East Milan Rd., Berlin, was indicted on a charge of delivery of articles to prisoners at the state prison.

• Mariann C. Letarte, 56, of 133 Route 16, Dummer, was indicated on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card. The indictment alleges Letarte engaged in a fraudulent course of conduct using the town of Dummer’s credit card to make unauthorized purchases for herself or for family members. Purchases included airline tickets, Disney resort passes, hotel rooms, and non-town related cable television and phone services.

• Loren W. Locke, 26, of 23 Marietta Lane, Groveton, was indicted on a charge of driving a motor vehicle after certification as a habitual offender.

• Timothy Malone, 38, of the Northern N.H. Correctional Facility, 138 East Milan Rd., Berlin, was indicted on three counts of assault by a prisoner at the state prison in Berlin.

• Anthony Manning, 28, of the Northern N.H. Correctional Facility, 138 East Milan Rd., Berlin, was indicted on seven counts of the charge of conspiracy to delivery of articles to prisoners and one count of delivery of articles to prisoners at the state prison in Berlin.

• Cassandra Morris, 32, of 28 Hayes Ave., Manchester, was indicted on a charge of public welfare — prohibited act.

• Jillian Paradis, 34, of 799 Second Ave, Berlin, was indicted on two Class A felony counts of possession of a controlled drug (fentanyl) with intent to sell having a prior drug conviction.

• Mianca Parker, 25, of 2 Lilac Lane, Gorham, was indicted on a charge of bail jumping.

• Christopher Piper, 32, of 58 Cascade Flats, Gorham, was indicted on a charge of violation of protective order.
