Project Osprey officials gathered at the Fort Hill Wildlife Management Area in Stratford Wednesday to put an osprey nesting platform on top of a 35-foot utility pole. Berlin teen sentenced in assault case

A Berlin teen will serve a month in the House of Correction and get a tour of the N.H. State Prison as part of a plea bargain agreement he reached in an assault case. Derek Croteau, 18, of 117 Emery St., Berlin, was originally charged with second degree assault, alleging he punched Timothy Donovan, Jr., in the head with his fist last July in Berlin. The Berlin Police Department advises motorists planning to attend tonight's Christmas Parade of Lights that traffic heading north on Route 16 will be diverted to the Cleveland Bridge today, beginning at 6 p.m. The Mason Street bridge will also be closed for about an hour once the parade starts heading up Main Street. If Bankruptcy court approves, Tillotson Healthcare will sell assets

If a bankruptcy court approves the plan, Tillotson Healthcare Corp. will sell its assets to another company, allowing it to continue operations. The proposed sale to Dynarex Corp., of Orangeburg, N.Y., would save about 170 jobs at Tillotson’s rubber glove plant in Dixville, a warehouse in Rochester and corporate offices in Bedford.
