Tax Aid Program

The Tax Aid program in northern New Hampshire provides free tax assistance to low and middle income taxpayers from February 1, through April 15. Last year volunteer in northern Grafton County and Coos County helped over 300 taxpayers to file Federal and State returns at sites in Lancaster, Berlin, Littleton, Groveton, Whitefield and WoodsvilIe. Selectmen vote to delay call for special town meeting

'It's Better in Berlin' winner announced

A mother and daughter team won the "It's Better in Berlin" contest with their proposal to establish a women's fitness and weight loss center. Tina Roy will be the owner with her mother, Tami Roy, a partner in the venture. The announcement was made yesterday at the Pleasant Street building being renovated for the business.
