Elizabeth Ruediger:

After 14 months of calming the rough waters, I have decided that take the opportunity to step back over and experience sitting at the selectmen's table as an equal for the remainder of my tenure, as opposed to a position of subordination.

I have greatly enjoyed providing quality customer service and consistently problem solving on behalf of the town's residents. I have learned a lot about the inner workings of municipal government and appreciate every opportunity to expand my personal and professional skill set.

I look forward to continuing to be the liaison for the town's legal counsel, managing the town's email, bringing a sense of due diligence to the town and its residents to keep us on the right path and protecting the town's assets that have been under assault for the past 10 years.

I will continue to be the co-emergency management director, cemetery trustee, planning board representative and bridge committee member. I look forward to hiring my replacement and hope we can find a well qualified candidate who is equally dedicated and loyal to the town of Dummer.

I look forward to the freedom to spend more time with my husband and sons, as well as the ability to travel to see my family, who live in the Midwest.

I thank you for the opportunity to serve you on an administrative level and to have the ability to place my finger on the pulse of this beautiful community.

With great respect,

Elizabeth Ruediger
