Cyclone and Angels to Speedway 51 on May 20

By Dick Therrien

GROVETON — Speedway 51, powered by the Autosaver Group, has made a change in its schedule for Saturday, May 20. Due to the rain out on the season opening May 6 event, the White Mountains Community College Cyclones and the Moms Angel division have been added to Saturday, May 20 to make up for their lost date.

Both of these divisions are anxious to get back to racing at Speedway 51, and it looks like both classes will be extremely competitive. Saturday’s card will feature a Perras Ace Hardware Tiger Special, the Caron Fabrication Street Stocks, A.B. Excavating Daredevils, Twisted Tea Pure Stocks as well as the Cyclones and Angels. An added special for the kids will be bike races. Post time is 6 p.m. Adults are $12, Seniors and Military in uniform is $10, teens 13-16 are just $5, and kids 12 and under are free.
