Berlin Police issue warning on rash of thefts from vehicles

BERLIN — The Berlin Police Department warns it has received numerous reports of thefts from parked vehicles within the past month. While the department is investigating the rash of thefts, it encourages residents not to leave valuable items, such as firearms, money, electronics and identification, in parked vehicles. Police also recommend that residents lock their vehicle and park in a well-lit area or in front of a security camera when possible.
